High aromatic carbon black oil (CBFS) is primarily used as a feedstock to produce carbon black, which is a key ingredient in the rubber, plastics, and ink industries. Its high carbon content makes it ideal for the pyrolysis process to create carbon black, which is then used to reinforce rubber in tires and other products, as a pigment in paints and coatings, and to add conductivity and UV protection to plastics. CBFS also has applications as a rubber process oil, in fuel oil blending, and in the production of certain chemicals.
